Nearly ready to steam. I still have to finish the paint job but the crew are done and the ship is all assembled bar a few finishing touches.
This image is what I was aiming for as a concept.
The sailors can be for either side but the flag on the back and the captain will change if she is fighting for the Reds or Whites.

Big Red Guns
Just when the poor Whites thought they were catching up, the Reds have some more artillery.
The light gun is the Copplestone Miniatures M1902 76 mm field gun.
The heavy piece is a 152 mm M1910 howitzer from Mad Bob Miniatures with Copplestone crew.
The gun commanders are simple head swaps. One from the Bolo gun pack and one from the White gun pack.

White Support Guns
I have added some more support assets to the White Army. A 76mm field gun, a Maxim gun and an officer with a Lewis gun.
The field gun is another Copplestone Castings model but these second two are from Studio Siberia.

After Lockdown
Here are some photos of a Battlegroup 28mm WW2 game we played last week. 1944 Eastern Front.
On the right a Russian armoured column and tank riders flanks the town, liberating the former factory manager's residence in the process.
A viscious tank fight leaves many burning wrecks on both sides but a well timed Shturmovik flypast knocks out a Panzer IV and the defences crumble.
Meanwhile the Russian infantry push into the town encountering stiff German resistance as an armoured Kampfgruppe rushes to stop them.
Where the #@*$ did that Panther come from!
More Germans are sent to shore up the line but their morale is close to collapsing.
The Soviet and Fascist infantry engage in furious street fighting for the ruined factory.
The game was played using the Battlegroup WW2 rules. I think they give a pretty good game. I'm wondering if they would work for my RCW figures. Not having to learn too many rule sets is always helpful.
These rules are popular the the club. This is the table my Club mates Ian and Matt set up for a Normandy game in another corner of the club.

New Whites
Here are a few New additions to my White forces. Some command figures and a few extras to round out the existing units.
The infantry are Copplestone. The priest and mounted officer are from Studio Siberia. All fit well together.
The photos are quite poor but they are now mixed in with the rest of the White units, so no retakes.

Maxims Fixed
My maxim gunners are right handed now and have a loader to help fire the gun.
A Studio Siberia Orthodox Priest can be seen blessing the guns in the background.
